Parallaxen Exhibition
4–6 May 2026
Look through a viewfinder. What you see is never quite what the lens captures.
This small displacement — Parallax — is not an error so much as a condition. What remains is a fragile distance — between us, the world, the other, ourselves.
Over 20 artists from four Hessian art institutions HfG Offenbach, HfMDK Frankfurt, Kunsthochschule Kassel, and Städelschule will present their work under the title Parallaxen come together for three days of exhibitions, concerts, performances, film screenings and installations that ask: how is reality constructed through the act of looking — and by whom? What was hidden begins to surface. What seemed fixed begins to move. Curated by Salomé Menzel and Supattra nink Tan - Curatorial Studies program
